What is Currents?
Well, it's official. Currents has made it one year. With the successful printing of the third edition, it can be assumed that the good fortunes will carry us into the new year.
With that said, it might behoove us to explain the concept of Currents.
Currents is more than a magazine. It is a synergy of print and online that is built to cover business and industry of Glynn County. What I mean by that is this; stories are covered in the magazine and enhanced online by video sidebars or other dynamic content.
The good news is you, the audience, will be asked periodically to submit your opinion on various topics of interest. It could be your favorite business to buy a suit, take clients for drinks or spend a weekend away from the office.
But more than that, the website is an avenue for you to voice your opinion and let Currents know what stories are important for you to see covered, in print or online.
The editorial calender includes stories on companies using green technology to get ahead, why some of the best golfers in the world are calling on Sea Island to hone their games and the impact of the art community on our local economy.
These are just a few of the stories that we plan on covering. Prior to, we will ask, and hope to receive, your input on these stories and who you would like to see covered. Don't be shy.
And advertising agencies and PR firms? C'mon. Really. I mean this is the perfect place to make those clients happy. We expect big things from you.
